Chicken Halang-halang is a Filipino chicken dish similar to ginataang manok. This dish has a hint of sili leaves, which makes it smell and taste fresh.
1/2 kg. chicken cut into serving pieces
1 piece Chicken Cube (Knorr or Maggi)
1 cup water
2 cups papaya green and sliced
2 cups coconut milk
1 cup sili leaves
salt & pepper to taste
1. In a casserole put together chicken and chicken cubee.
2. After 5 minutes or when papaya is tender, pour in the coconut milk.
3. Add sili leaves, bring to boil and season with salt and pepper.
4. Serve hot.
