How to make Banana Cue:

Banana cue is term used to call fried skewered plantains cooked with brown sugar.

This is a staple in the Philippines, and is mostly consumed as a mid-afternoon snack.


10 pcs saba

1/2 cup brown sugar

cooking oil for frying

BBQ sticks


1. Peel the banana and roll it in brown sugar. See to it is covered well.

2. Deep fry in hot oil

3. When the cooked, take them one by one and let the oil drip.

4. Skew them on bamboo sticks. (Usually two or three banana in 1 stick)
