Coffee jelly dessert is extremely refreshing and is a good thirst quencher especially under warm weather.
Well, you do not need to spend much to satisfy your cravings for coffee jelly. You can do it in your own home and let your taste buds dictate the amount of caffeine or sweetness that you need. It is quite simple and very easy to make, very suitable to combat the summer heat.
1/2 cup instant coffee
2 tbsp gelatin powder
1 cup sugar
2 1/2 cups water
whipped cream
chocolate syrup
1. Combine instant coffee, gelatin powder, sugar and ina saucepan. Let boil over medium heat, stirring occassionally until completely dissolved.
2. Transfer mixture into cups or small desert bowls. Chill for 1-2 hours.
3. Top jelly with some whipped cream and drizzle with chocolate sauce just before serving.
* Coffee jelly may also be cut into cubes and added to cold coffee drinks or ice cream.
