How to make Pork Steak:

Pork Steak is a variation of Bistek Tagalog.

The procedure and some ingredients are almost the same; the only difference is the use of pork chops or any pork slices for that matter.

5 loin pork chops

10 pieces bataw

4 tablespoons calamansi

4 small potatoes

1/4 cup soy sauce

1 cup water

1 teaspoon pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

1. Mix water, soy sauce, salt, pepper and bayleaf in a pan.

2. Cook pork in this mixture over medium heat.

3. Pour calamansi when the meat is slightly tender.

4. Add potatoes.

5. Add bataw when almost cooked.

6. Add onion rings before removing from heat.

7. Serve.
